Portfolio poem

Drunk

I went to this party it was pretty fun
Got so drunk, I had no idea what was going on
It was 7 in the morning when I got home
I took off my jacket and I seemed to have on less clothes
I thought to myself “what happened?”
I don’t even remember how I got home
Maybe I had too much to drink
My body felt so soar
I took off my jeans and didn’t see any underwear
Nothing seemed to click, nothing seemed to clear
I told my friends what happened; they said “I think you got raped”
I said “Oh no, that’s couldn’t be!”
I felt all sorts of different ways
I was scared, shocked and in denial
I didn’t want to believe it
I thought that would never happen to me it was too wild
I went to the doctor they told me it was true
I was so intoxicated that night
When they asked what happened I didn’t know what to do
